Museum membership is easy–Individual membership is only $10 annually; Family membership is $25; Museum Friend membership is $50; Sponsor-level membership is $100, and Museum Patrons contribute $250. Since the Friendship Museum, Inc., is a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation, membership contributions are tax-deductible. Checks should be mailed to the Friendship Museum, PO Box 226, Friendship, ME 04547.
Museum funds go toward keeping the Schoolhouse Museum open and running during summer months, and toward renovation of the Annex on Harbor Road. Insurance, upkeep, power and heat eat up a lot of our annual funding. Otherwise, we are volunteer-powered, which is why work on the Annex has taken ten years since its acquisition.
